Custom Shipping Container Modifications

Custom designed modular buidlings that fill almost any need.

Custom designed modular buildings for almost any need.If you can dream it, we can build it!

Almost any structure you can imagine can be built using shipping containers. We've built more than 600 modular structures over the years and most of them have been custom design builds.

Whether you're looking for products we've built in the past, like Mobile Labs, Fire Training Facilities or Sidewalk Hoarding, or a more simple container modification, such as a window, insulation or roll up door, we can help.

All you need is a well-defined need and we can do the rest. Our design build process includes initial discovery, research, budgeting, design, procurement, building and delivery.

Our experience helps us recommend solutions that work and we also have a network of consultants so we can choose the team that is most suitable for the job!

“We purchased a tactical rescue building constructed of six shipping containers supplied and modified by BigSteelBox. They were very conscious of our requirements and the requirements for safety and usability. Their staff provided valuable input and delivery was on time as promised.”

We deliver a BigSteelBox to your home, you pack it at your own pace, then we pick it up and move it to your new home. If you need storage, keep the Box at your place or we'll store it at one of our secure locations.

Benefits of Building with Steel

BSBS-skid-stairs_170X100.jpgFor mobile structures on remote worksites, building with steel makes sense when compared to wood-frame construction.

BigSteelBoxes are built for ocean shipping and withstanding the elements, so they're much more solid, durable and stackable than trailers.
